Executives at Trinity Health, which operates 93 hospitals, have their pay tied to the system's overall effectiveness in keeping patients out of the hospital, lowering smoking and obesity rates, and other population health metrics.

Is this an effective way to keep patients safer and costs down?

Becker's Hospital Review named the following female leaders to its annual list of 130 women hospital and health system "leaders to know". What names belong on the list in 2017? Whose name was left off in 2016? And...how do we attain such a critical mass of nominations Becker's will have to double the list???
