When: Monday, October 08, 2018, 08:30am - 05:00pm
Join the Jewish Healthcare Foundation’s newest supporting non-profit operating arm, the Women’s Health Activist Movement (WHAMglobal), on October 8, for a day-long symposium building on cutting-edge research about the causes and conditions related to maternal and infant mortality and to consider various action strategies. We plan to assess current best-practice models and consider promising policy, practice and payment reforms. This symposium will precede the Magee Women’s Research Institute Summit, October 9-10 and bring together leading researchers, health practitioners and policy makers to review known risk factors and social determinants, and to identify future interventions and research directions.
If you are interested in attending or would like more information on the symposium or MWRI summit, please contact Kate Dickerson, firstname.lastname@example.org
